QC NDT was established in 1986 in San Leandro, CA as a distributor of StressTel ultrasonic products. In 1989 we became the first Magnaflux authorized distributor on the West Coast and began carrying the Sonatest line of flaw detectors in the early 1990’s. We introduced the first digital radiographic pipe end detector in the U.S. as well as the first GPR systems in the Bay Area.
Recently, we moved to our new, larger facility in Hayward, CA to better serve our customer’s needs. As the company has grown, we have kept at the forefront of our core values – service to the NDT community. Working closely with the Golden Gate Chapter of the American Society of Nondestructive Testing, we hosted the first annual NDT summit in October of 2014 bringing together industry experts and anyone interested in NDT to explore our field further.
